Health, Safety, Environmental and Corporate Social Responsibility (HSES)

B2Gold has a strong safety and environmental track record. The Company continues to build on our strong historical commitment to HSES responsibility. Recently the Company hired a full time Vice President for Environment, Health, Safety, and Permitting. Bill Lytle has had more than 15 years experience specializing in providing operational health, safety, environmental, and social assistance during all phases of the mining cycle as well as extensive experience working with international lending institutes such as the IFC.

Additionally, the Company has begun implementation of an environmental management program that will continue standardization of all health, safety, environmental, and social policies and procedures, facilitate transparency to all stakeholders, and allow consistent check and review procedures at all operations.
